iPhone 5S has received a price cut as Apple launched its latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus with a bigger display size. Apple has already updated its prices on the Apple store, as it gets ready to take the new iPhone pre-orders starting this September 19.
At the launch event Apple introduced its latest and redesigned smartphone, with bigger display sizes than the earlier iPhone. iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch screen size while iPhone 6 plus is a 5.5 inch display phone. Apple also introduced Apple Wallet and Apple iWatch at the event. Apple Wallet will help the users to pay or transfer money without the electronic chip cards or credit cards, right from the iPhone. Apple claims that the card details will not be stored neither in the phone nor on the iCloud. The card details will not be shared with the merchant, and would only require a finger print authorization from the iPhone to make the payment.
Apple 5S will still continue to be the latest 4 inch display size iPhone from Apple. The device gets a 100$ price cut to 549$ for the 16 GB version while it’s 150$ lesser for the 32 GB variant, at 599$.
Unlike the iPhone 5c, the 5s did well for Apple, hence making the company maintain the pricing for long. As long as there’s demand, the pricing would hover at the initial rates and that has been the case for the 5s. We doubt that, after the launch of the new iPhones, people would actually get a 5s but the previous flagship is still a very capable device if you are ok with a smaller screen. There are not many differences in key components between the 5s and the 6, mainly because TouchID is already there. May be people will miss the NFC functionality or the new camera, but the 5s is still capable in all the other aspects, except for, of course, the screen size.iPhone 5S gets a price cut, obviouslyhttp://www.gadgetcluster.com/2014/09/iphone-5s-gets-a-price-cut-obviously/http://i2.wp.com/www.gadgetcluster.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/iPhone-5S-price-cut.jpg?fit=303%2C259http://i2.wp.com/www.gadgetcluster.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/iPhone-5S-price-cut.jpg?resize=150%2C150 APPLEHUBS
