Samsung has introduced Dual Sim variant of it’s next rumored flagship device the Samsung Galaxy S5. The Dual Sim variant is exclusively available for the Chinese market. The flagship mobile will be available starting from 11th of April with the pre-launched single Sim variant.
The Dual Sim variant does not differ from the single Sim variant in many ways except the dual Sim functionality. The phone will be clocked at 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CP. The screen size also remains the same at 5.1inch and a out-of-the-box 2GB RAM. It will come with 16GB of internal memory, 16MP rare shooter and 2800 mAh battery backup. The phone will also be dust and water resistant.
One of the Sim of the Dual Sim S5 will be CDMA2000 and other will be GSM. The phone is priced at $850 and the model number is G9009D. The company however, has not disclosed any plans of launching the Dual Sim variant in other countries including India.
One of the drawbacks of the S5 Dual Sim variant would be its battery life. Considering the fact that the phone will use 2 radios as it’s dual Sim, S5 Dual Sim variant performance would be lower as compared to the S5 single Sim in case of it’s battery backup.
Samsung Galaxy single Sim variant is expected to be priced at Rs.51,490 in India and is set to hit the markets on 11th of April.Samsung Galaxy S5 Dual Sim launched in Chinahttp://www.gadgetcluster.com/2014/04/samsung-galaxy-s5-dual-sim-launched/http://i0.wp.com/www.gadgetcluster.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/s.jpg?fit=1020%2C765http://i0.wp.com/www.gadgetcluster.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/s.jpg?resize=150%2C150 SAMSUNGS5,Samsung
