We have seen Google constantly adding features to all its services to improve the security and crack down the malicious applications from Gmail to Android. This time Google has taken a step forward to crackdown the malicious processes from the applications installed on the phone.
Google Android App’s verify feature, that blocks third party applications from installing, which are not downloaded from Google play, will now run in the background to detect malicious processes. Till now, this feature used to kick in, at the time of installing new apps and used to scan the app. Now, according to Google, the feature will continuously run in the background and will detect suspicious processes and also crack them down. In the past we have even seen some malware on Google Play, which riddled as high ranking applications.
The Android apps verify feature is available on all android operating systems from android 2.2 and above. According to Google the update of verify apps will be pushed automatically to the devices, as a step to improve the security.
